{My homework ate my dog.}

So usually I wish I'd drawn more than I actually did. But in this case, I wish I'd just drawn the top-right corner part, because I like that part and I clearly butchered the perspective and everything else about the rest of the comic. But the Homework and dog part looks great! My hope in person is that people read the text, see the thought bubble, and then turn the page quickly before seeing the rest of the drawing. On the webs, I hope that people are distracted by that crazy building in the bkg, and then quickly use the arrow keys.

That building is right next to the library here, and honestly I think it's just a residence. I've never seen anyone coming or going, or I'd have asked, but it seems to be very small inside, I can't imagine there's a ton of room in there. Unless it leads to an expansive underground bunker and network of tunnels underneath the Central District. How cool would it be to find out you were living above a carefully designed tunnel/bunker combo from the cold war era. And then you find out they'd been conducting secret CIA experiments with radiation and LSD and they'd created some mutant human monsters, but not knowing what to do with them, they'd merely locked them up and thrown away the key. Now, with this relic of 50's space-race architecture as their portal, they are beginning to emerge from below.

Of course, they're all very old now, so they spend the bulk of their time at the Walgreen's and food bank and then they turn in at 5 to watch a couple of hours of Matlock on the classic TV channel because they have to get up at 6am to be the first into the library before all the good books are checked out.
