So the last joke from this book may be the best one. And as we come into summer, that leaves me optimistic for tomorrow and a few tomorrows beyond tomorrow. I haven't dug through the books yet, but I promised some time ago that I would find the book with all the good comics in it and post those, as an apology for this set, so I think we can both expect some pretty great comics for the next month or two. Of course, such a book may not exist, in which case it will just be the standard fare we've grown accustomed to.
I have been trying to think of an interesting place to take the photos for my next book. I would like to return to some interesting industrial place again, but I think I may have a cooler idea.... The Dump! Yes, I'm going to try to find some interesting images at the local dump, hopefully that's not a terrible idea. I have to wait for a sunny day, but summer in Seattle should provide at least a couple of those. We'll see. Actually you'll see tomorrow, but I will have to wait because I am typing this from the past! I'm like a time traveler, but I only go forwards....
The Starbucks I'm in while typing this is playing Disco Duck on the overhead. I'm not sure who they're trying to appeal to with this. Is there anyone who needs to hear this song? Scrap that, I think the guy across from me is tapping his foot. And I just checked Youtube and there's 1.6 million hits on Disco Duck. Oh my.
